Remembering to practice self-love

With a new semester starting, it can be hard to go from having a full winter break to back into school mode. Maybe you’ve started a new course that is supposed to be really difficult, or maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed with all the different clubs and organizations you’re in.

No matter what the reason, it’s really important to dedicate some time to self-care and self-love.

It may seem like adding another thing on your to-do list, but it can make a huge difference in your mental health, plus, it doesn’t have to be a ton of work!

You can repeat self-love affirmations or quotes to yourself or hang them up in your mirror. That’s why I love this Self-love generator from Gifts.

It filters different quotes and affirmations for you so you get exactly what you need. For instance, if you are struggling with self-esteem or self-acceptance, you can filter your quotes and affirmations so that it shows you encouraging words like “I will strive to be myself and no one else.” or “I value myself and my imperfections.”

It’s a great way to find exactly the words you need to hear so you can value yourself and your worth and beat any college blues!
