Let’s be honest, COLLEGE AIN’T EASY! Trying to juggle everything expected of us just feels impossible sometimes. School, volunteering, club meetings, research, etc. and having a social life all unanimously seems impossible. Making time for yourself seems even more impossible. This is why I started doing yoga.
Since the weekend is approaching, I thought I would share my idea of a perfect lazy Sunday! There are a few things I do ahead of time to make sure I can just relax and not have a worry in the world!
No matter your year, major, or credit hour count. We all find that one day during the week that is inevitably grueling. You’re going going going all day and when you finally get a break, you realize it is 7:30 at night!
Plan out your day:
No matter what you have to do or where you have to be, it is always possible if you make a game plan. You can write it in your planner or even on a scratch piece of paper to carry around with you that day. Plan out everything to a T. From when you leave your house, to when you finally get back home. This will help you stay organized and on top of things so you don’t fall behind on an already fast moving day.
Pick out your outfit the night before:
This can determine the type of day you will have. If I am stuck trying to find a matching top and end up falling behind, I get so frustrated. It is so useful to lay out your outfit the night before so it’s one less thing to worry about in the morning!
Wake up a little early:
The worst way to start a busy day is to start in a rush. Make sure you wake up a little early so you’re ready to conquer the day. This will also ensure you don’t leave anything behind!
